In Tomos the main phase is the first one: the time dedicated to the preliminary analysis is not wasted time.
It’s not enough doing problem solving downstream, the correct approach is to do it upstream. A good evaluation of the feasibility, the forecast of the problems of metallization, deformation, together with process optimizations allow to find the best concept of mould and casting, in order to obtain the best performance in foundry. This is our research concept, closely linked to the problem solving: understanding a customer’s need and transforming it into a lasting solution.

Designing and manufacturing moulds requires state-of-the-art
At Tomos, we invest our resources in acquiring and updating equipments and software, in order to respond efficiently and competitively to the market’s increasingly demanding requirements.
Our machine park meets the main production and processing needs, with 3- and 5-axis milling machines, drilling machines, and boring machine.
We can currently design and manufacture medium-sized moulds, up to 20 t, introducing the production technologies required such as Squeeze pins, vacuum, jet cooling.
We organize our internal quality system accordingly to the certification ISO9001:2015, synonym of process guarantee and respect of our sector’s regulations.
Our departments procedures are constantly controlled and monitored.
In the same way we demand quality to our suppliers.
Each of them has been selected in accordance with criteria of proven reliability and provide regular documentation on materials (special steels) and treatments (surface or heat treatments).
We are ISO 9001 certified.
